What an amazing day for the team here in Bermuda, we were completely unsure of how the day might go given it was our 5th day on an M32. Especially since the team was blown out from the practice day yesterday with gusts up to 40kts at times. So we took the opportunity to complete our work list on the boat and make sure it was in race ready shape. It was a very productive day including a great discussion about the new rules to be used with the M32's. All in all about as good of a day as you could ask for considering we weren't able to get out sailing.

 

Racing today was absolutely amazing with 10-15kts out of the North on the great sound, all while racing along side the Americas Cup teams that were out practicing. The teams that are at this event are so tough that every race was anyone's to win. But we found our stride rather quickly after race 1 showing some real speed against the top teams. Our results were 5,2,1,4,5,7,4,5 and currently are sitting in 5th place which is quite impressive given our lack of time in the boat, and only 9 points from 2nd place!!!
