A Disappointing Result in Sweden

Chris Poole and the Riptide Racing team have a rough week in Marstrand, Sweden. Things were looking promising with a talented but new team lined up, but we unfortunately lost practice day due to too much wind and when you combine that with a new team it just really put us on the back foot from the outset. We also didn't get a great format with only a few races each day, meanwhile the team that won got 5 races on the first day.

But you can't make excuses and sometimes things just don't go you way and this week was definitely that. Skipper Chris Poole say "It just felt like the deck was stacked against us and we had no luck" In the end the team only managed to finish 9th out of 10 at this years event which was every frustrating but the team will be back in 2026 you can count on that. This island is one of the best places in the world to go match racing.

Next up for the team are our home event on the waters of Oyster Bay for the U.S. Grandslam Series
