Chris Poole
Chris Poole has been the #1 skipper in the world for the past four years. Chris grew up sailing on the coast of Maine and quickly took to racing. Since 2019 Chris has led Riptide to consistent podium finishes and historic victories at the U.S. Congressional Cup in 2023 and Match Cup Sweden in 2024.

Trimmer
Mal Parker
Mal Parker originally from Hobart, Tasmania is one of the best trimmers in the world. With experience in both the America's Cup and the worlds top offshore events, he is a key asset to any team he it a part of. Mal has been racing with Riptide for the past 3 seasons and been a key part of the teams success.

Pitman
Luke Payne
One of the sailing world’s most in-demand grinders, Australian Luke hails from Fremantle and has competed in some of the top events in the world. Luke has earned a reputation as a powerhouse on the pumps having competed in the America’s Cup with American Magic, and first raced with Denmark SailGP Team driver Nicolai Sehested some years ago in the Extreme Sailing Series.

Tactician
Joachim Aschenbrenner
Joachim Aschenbrenner is one of the best tacticians in the world. He started his career as a very skilled helmsman before transitioning to tactics and coaching. Joachim sailed with Riptide for the 2019 Congressional Cup before joined Riptide in 2022 full time. Since then Joachim and Chris have been one of the strongest tactician/skipper pairings in modern match racing.

Bowman
Matt Cornwell
Having competed as a sailor with GBR Challenge in 2003, Areva Challenge in 2007 and Land Rover BAR in 2017, Matt joined Ineos Team UK in 2021 as the Racing Rules Advisor.
He also has raced in the TP52 Super Series for over a decade, won the World Match Racing Championship in 2010 with Ben Ainslie and 2014 with Ian Williams, and has won the Sydney-Hobart Race, the ORC World Championships and the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup.
