Chris Poole and the Riptide Racing team take silver at Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Clubs Thompson Cup, the teams home event. We had a new team with us this week in Oyster Bay which was fun. It's always great to be sailing on Oyster Bay the teams home waters and in one of our favorite classes the Swedish Match 40. Sailing with the team at this years Grandslam Events were Florian Trub on Bow, Julianna Corso in pit, Ben Rosenberg on trim, and Luke Muller on main and tactics. This team did a great job coming together as a new team. We won our Semi-Final over Christian Prendergast 2-1 to face Cole Tapper of Australia in the Finals. Unfortunately we weren't able to defend our title at this years Thompson Cup but we gained some valuable points for the WMRT Leaderboard and the Overall WMRT Points Championship.
Next up for the team is the historic Bermuda Gold Cup sailed in the legendary IOD!
